لَقَدْ وُعِدْنَا هٰذَا نَحْنُ وَاٰبَاۤؤُنَا مِنْ قَبْلُۙ اِنْ هٰذَآ اِلَّآ اَسَاطِيْرُ الْاَوَّلِيْنَ ( النمل: ٦٨ )
laqad wuʿid'nā
لَقَدْ وُعِدْنَا
Certainly we have been promised
തീര്ച്ചയായും ഞങ്ങളോടു വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്
hādhā
هَٰذَا
this
ഇതു
naḥnu
نَحْنُ
we
ഞങ്ങളോടു
waābāunā
وَءَابَآؤُنَا
and our forefathers
ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കളോടും
min qablu
مِن قَبْلُ
before before
മുമ്പ്, മുമ്പേ
in hādhā
إِنْ هَٰذَآ
Not (is) this
ഇതല്ല
illā asāṭīru
إِلَّآ أَسَٰطِيرُ
except tales
പുരാണകഥകളല്ലാതെ, ഇതിഹാസങ്ങളല്ലാതെ
l-awalīna
ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
(of) the former (people)"
പൂര്വ്വികന്മാരുടെ, മുന്കാലക്കാരുടെ
Laqad wu'idnaa haazaa nahnu wa aabaaa'unaa min qablu in haazaaa illaaa asaateerul awwaleen (an-Naml 27:68)
English Sahih:
We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before. This is not but legends of the former peoples." (An-Naml [27] : 68)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
''ഞങ്ങളോടും ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കളോടും മുമ്പുതന്നെ ഇവ്വിധം വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. പൂര്വികരുടെ പഴമ്പുരാണങ്ങള് മാത്രമാണിത്.'' (അന്നംല് [27] : 68)
