ذٰلِكَ بِاَنَّهُمْ قَالُوْا لَنْ تَمَسَّنَا النَّارُ اِلَّآ اَيَّامًا مَّعْدُوْدٰتٍ ۖ وَّغَرَّهُمْ فِيْ دِيْنِهِمْ مَّا كَانُوْا يَفْتَرُوْنَ ( آل عمران: ٢٤ )
Zaalika bi annahum qaaloo lan tamassanan naaru illaaa ayyaamam ma'doodaatinw wa gharrahum fee deenihim maa kaanoo yaftaroon (ʾĀl ʿImrān 3:24)
English Sahih:
That is because they say, "Never will the Fire touch us except for [a few] numbered days," and [because] they were deluded in their religion by what they were inventing. (Ali 'Imran [3] : 24)

നിര്ണിതമായ ഏതാനും നാളുകളല്ലാതെ നരകത്തീ തങ്ങളെ തൊടില്ലെന്ന് വാദിച്ചതിനാലാണ് അവരങ്ങനെയായത്. അവര് സ്വയം കെട്ടിച്ചമച്ച വാദങ്ങള് അവരുടെ മതകാര്യത്തിലവരെ വഞ്ചിതരാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു. (ആലുഇംറാന് [3] : 24)
