ذٰلِكَ بِاَنَّهُمْ قَالُوْا لَنْ تَمَسَّنَا النَّارُ اِلَّآ اَيَّامًا مَّعْدُوْدٰتٍ ۖ وَّغَرَّهُمْ فِيْ دِيْنِهِمْ مَّا كَانُوْا يَفْتَرُوْنَ ( آل عمران: ٢٤ )
That
ذَٰلِكَ
Dies,
(is) because they
بِأَنَّهُمْ
weil sie
say
قَالُوا۟
sagen;
"Never
لَن
"Nicht
will touch us
تَمَسَّنَا
wird uns berühren
the Fire
ٱلنَّارُ
das Feuer,
except
إِلَّآ
außer
(for) days
أَيَّامًا
Tage."
numbered"
مَّعْدُودَٰتٍۖ
abgezählte
And deceived them
وَغَرَّهُمْ
Und getäuscht hat sie
in
فِى
in
their religion
دِينِهِم
ihrer Religion,
what
مَّا
was
they were
كَانُوا۟
sie waren
inventing
يَفْتَرُونَ
zu ersinnen.
Dhālika Bi'annahum Qālū Lan Tamassanā An-Nāru 'Illā 'Ayyāmāan Ma`dūdātin Wa Gharrahum Fī Dīnihim Mā Kānū Yaftarūna. (ʾĀl ʿImrān 3:24)

Dies, weil sie sagen; "Das (Höllen)feuer wird uns nur für eine bestimmte Anzahl von Tagen berühren." Was sie (an Lügen) zu ersinnen pflegten, hat sie über ihre Religion getäuscht. ([3] Al-i-IImran (Die Sippe Imrans) : 24)
English Sahih:
That is because they say, "Never will the Fire touch us except for [a few] numbered days," and [because] they were deluded in their religion by what they were inventing. ([3] Ali 'Imran : 24)
