وَمَا كَانَ لَنَا عَلَيْكُمْ مِّنْ سُلْطٰنٍۚ بَلْ كُنْتُمْ قَوْمًا طٰغِيْنَ ( الصافات: ٣٠ )
wamā kāna lanā
وَمَا كَانَ لَنَا
And not was for us
ഞങ്ങള്ക്ക് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല
ʿalaykum
عَلَيْكُم
over you
നിങ്ങളുടെമേല്
min sul'ṭānin
مِّن سُلْطَٰنٍۭۖ
any authority
ഒരു അധികാര ശക്തിയും
bal kuntum
بَلْ كُنتُمْ
Nay you were
എങ്കിലും നിങ്ങളായിരുന്നു
qawman ṭāghīna
قَوْمًا طَٰغِينَ
a people transgressing
അതിരു കവിഞ്ഞ (അതിക്രമികളായ) ഒരു ജനത
Wa maa kaana lanaa 'alaikum min sultaanim bal kuntum qawman taagheen (aṣ-Ṣāffāt 37:30)
English Sahih:
And we had over you no authority, but you were a transgressing people. (As-Saffat [37] : 30)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
''ഞങ്ങള്ക്ക് നിങ്ങളുടെമേല് ഒരധികാരവുമുണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ലല്ലോ. എന്നല്ല; നിങ്ങള് സ്വയംതന്നെ അതിക്രമികളായ ജനമായിരുന്നു. (അസ്സ്വാഫ്ഫാത്ത് [37] : 30)
