اِذْ قَالَ لِاَبِيْهِ وَقَوْمِهٖ مَاذَا تَعْبُدُوْنَ ۚ ( الصافات: ٨٥ )

അതായതു താന് പറഞ്ഞപ്പോള്
li-abīhi
لِأَبِيهِ
to his father
തന്റെ പിതാവിനോടു
waqawmihi
وَقَوْمِهِۦ
and his people
തന്റെ ജനതയോടും
mādhā taʿbudūna
مَاذَا تَعْبُدُونَ
"What is it you worship?
എന്തിനെയാണ് നിങ്ങളാരാധിക്കുന്നതു
Iz qaala li abeehi wa qawmihee maazaa ta'budoon (aṣ-Ṣāffāt 37:85)
English Sahih:
[And] when he said to his father and his people, "What do you worship? (As-Saffat [37] : 85)

അദ്ദേഹം തന്റെ പിതാവിനോടും ജനതയോടും ചോദിച്ചു: ''നിങ്ങള് എന്തിനെയാണ് പൂജിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നത്? (അസ്സ്വാഫ്ഫാത്ത് [37] : 85)
