وَتَرٰى كَثِيْرًا مِّنْهُمْ يُسَارِعُوْنَ فِى الْاِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِ وَاَكْلِهِمُ السُّحْتَۗ لَبِئْسَ مَا كَانُوْا يَعْمَلُوْنَ ( المائدة: ٦٢ )
watarā
وَتَرَىٰ
And you see
നീ കാണും, നിനക്കു കാണാം
kathīran
كَثِيرًا
many
പലരെയും, വളരെ ആളുകളെ
min'hum
مِّنْهُمْ
of them
അവരില് നിന്ന്
yusāriʿūna
يُسَٰرِعُونَ
hastening
അവര് ധൃതി കൂട്ടുന്നതായി
fī l-ith'mi
فِى ٱلْإِثْمِ
into [the] sin
കുറ്റത്തില് (പാപത്തില്)
wal-ʿud'wāni
وَٱلْعُدْوَٰنِ
and [the] transgression
അതിക്രമത്തിലും
wa-aklihimu
وَأَكْلِهِمُ
and eating
അവര് തിന്നുന്നതിലും
l-suḥ'ta
ٱلسُّحْتَۚ
the forbidden
ഹറാമിനെ, നിഷിദ്ധത്തെ
labi'sa
لَبِئْسَ
Surely evil
വളരെ മേശം (ചീത്ത)തന്നെ
mā kānū
مَا كَانُوا۟
(is) what they were
അവരായിരുന്നത്, ആയിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നത്
yaʿmalūna
يَعْمَلُونَ
doing
അവര് പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കും
Wa taraa kaseeram minhum yusaari'oona fil ismi wal'udwaani wa aklihimus suht; labi'sa maa kaanoo ya'maloon (al-Māʾidah 5:62)
English Sahih:
And you see many of them hastening into sin and aggression and the devouring of [what is] unlawful. How wretched is what they have been doing. (Al-Ma'idah [5] : 62)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
അവരില് ഒട്ടേറെയാളുകള് പാപവൃത്തികളിലും അതിക്രമങ്ങളിലും ആവേശത്തോടെ മുന്നേറുന്നതും നിഷിദ്ധ ധനം തിന്നുതിമിര്ക്കുന്നതും നിനക്കു കാണാം. അവര് ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നത് നന്നെ നീചം തന്നെ. (അല്മാഇദ [5] : 62)
