اِتَّخَذُوْٓا اَيْمَانَهُمْ جُنَّةً فَصَدُّوْا عَنْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ فَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّهِيْنٌ ( المجادلة: ١٦ )

ٱتَّخَذُوٓا۟
They have taken
അവര് ആക്കി, ആക്കിത്തീര്ത്തു
aymānahum
أَيْمَٰنَهُمْ
their oaths
അവരുടെ സത്യങ്ങളെ, ആണകളെ
junnatan
جُنَّةً
(as) a cover
ഒരു മറവു (തടവു - പരിച)
faṣaddū
فَصَدُّوا۟
so they hinder
അങ്ങനെ അവര് തടഞ്ഞു
ʿan sabīli l-lahi
عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ
from (the) way of Allah (the) way of Allah
അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ മാര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു
falahum
فَلَهُمْ
so for them
അതിനാല് അവര്ക്കുണ്ടു
ʿadhābun muhīnun
عَذَابٌ مُّهِينٌ
(is) a punishment humiliating
അപമാനകരമായ (നിന്ദിക്കുന്ന) ശിക്ഷ
Ittakhazooo aymaanahum junnatan fasaddoo 'an sabeelil laahi falahum 'azaabum muheen (al-Mujādilah 58:16)
English Sahih:
They took their [false] oaths as a cover, so they averted [people] from the way of Allah, and for them is a humiliating punishment. (Al-Mujadila [58] : 16)

തങ്ങളുടെ ശപഥങ്ങളെ അവര് ഒരു മറയായുപയോഗിക്കുകയാണ്. അങ്ങനെ അവര് ജനങ്ങളെ ദൈവമാര്ഗത്തില്നിന്ന് തെറ്റിക്കുന്നു. അതിനാലവര്ക്ക് നിന്ദ്യമായ ശിക്ഷയുണ്ട്. (അല്മുജാദല [58] : 16)
