اِتَّخَذُوْٓا اَيْمَانَهُمْ جُنَّةً فَصَدُّوْا عَنْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ فَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّهِيْنٌ ( المجادلة: ١٦ )
They have taken
ٱتَّخَذُوٓا۟
எடுத்துக் கொண்டனர்
their oaths
أَيْمَٰنَهُمْ
தங்கள் சத்தியங்களை
(as) a cover
جُنَّةً
ஒரு கேடயமாக
so they hinder
فَصَدُّوا۟
தடுக்கின்றனர்
from (the) way of Allah
عَن سَبِيلِ
மார்க்கத்தை விட்டும்
(the) way of Allah
ٱللَّهِ
அல்லாஹ்வின்
so for them
فَلَهُمْ
ஆகவே, அவர்களுக்கு உண்டு
(is) a punishment
عَذَابٌ
தண்டனை
humiliating
مُّهِينٌ
இழிவுதரக்கூடிய(து)
Ittakhazooo aymaanahum junnatan fasaddoo 'an sabeelil laahi falahum 'azaabum muheen (al-Mujādilah 58:16)
Abdul Hameed Baqavi:
இவர்கள் தங்களுடைய (பொய்ச்) சத்தியங்களைக் கேடயமாக வைத்துக்கொண்டு (மக்களை) அல்லாஹ்வுடைய பாதையிலிருந்து தடுத்துவிட்டனர். ஆகவே, இவர்களுக்கு மிக்க இழிவு தரும் வேதனையுண்டு.
English Sahih:
They took their [false] oaths as a cover, so they averted [people] from the way of Allah, and for them is a humiliating punishment. ([58] Al-Mujadila : 16)
