وَالَّذِيْنَ يُظٰهِرُوْنَ مِنْ نِّسَاۤىِٕهِمْ ثُمَّ يَعُوْدُوْنَ لِمَا قَالُوْا فَتَحْرِيْرُ رَقَبَةٍ مِّنْ قَبْلِ اَنْ يَّتَمَاۤسَّاۗ ذٰلِكُمْ تُوْعَظُوْنَ بِهٖۗ وَاللّٰهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ خَبِيْرٌ ( المجادلة: ٣ )
Wallazeena yuzaahiroona min nisaaa'ihim summa ya'oodoona limaa qaaloo fatabreeru raqabatim min qabli any-yatamaaassaa; zaalikum too'azoona bih; wallaahu bimaa ta'maloona khabeer (al-Mujādilah 58:3)
English Sahih:
And those who pronounce thihar from their wives and then [wish to] go back on what they said – then [there must be] the freeing of a slave before they touch one another. That is what you are admonished thereby; and Allah is Aware of what you do. (Al-Mujadila [58] : 3)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
തങ്ങളുടെ ഭാര്യമാരെ ളിഹാര്‍ ചെയ്യുകയും പിന്നീട് തങ്ങള്‍ പറഞ്ഞതില്‍നിന്ന് പിന്‍മാറുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവര്‍; ഇരുവരും പരസ്പരം സ്പര്‍ശിക്കുംമുമ്പെ ഒരടിമയെ മോചിപ്പിക്കണം. നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു നല്‍കുന്ന ഉപദേശമാണിത്. നിങ്ങള്‍ ചെയ്യുന്നതിനെക്കുറിച്ചൊക്കെ നന്നായറിയുന്നവനാണ് അല്ലാഹു. (അല്‍മുജാദല [58] : 3)

തങ്ങളുടെ ഭാര്യമാരെ മാതാക്കള്‍ക്ക് തുല്യമായി പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കുകയും, പിന്നീട് തങ്ങള്‍ പറഞ്ഞതില്‍ നിന്ന് മടങ്ങുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവര്‍, അവര്‍ പരസ്പരം സ്പര്‍ശിക്കുന്നതിനു മുമ്പായി ഒരു അടിമയെ മോചിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതാണ്‌.[1] അത് നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു നല്‍കപ്പെടുന്ന ഉപദേശമാണ്‌. അല്ലാഹു നിങ്ങള്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്നതിനെപ്പറ്റി സൂക്ഷ്മജ്ഞാനമുള്ളവനാകുന്നു.
