سَخَّرَهَا عَلَيْهِمْ سَبْعَ لَيَالٍ وَّثَمٰنِيَةَ اَيَّامٍۙ حُسُوْمًا فَتَرَى الْقَوْمَ فِيْهَا صَرْعٰىۙ كَاَنَّهُمْ اَعْجَازُ نَخْلٍ خَاوِيَةٍۚ ( الحاقة: ٧ )

سَخَّرَهَا
Which He imposed
അതിനെ അവന്‍ കീഴ്പ്പെടുത്തി (നിയോഗിച്ചു)
ʿalayhim
عَلَيْهِمْ
upon them
അവരില്‍
sabʿa layālin
سَبْعَ لَيَالٍ
(for) seven nights
ഏഴു രാത്രി
wathamāniyata ayyāmin
وَثَمَٰنِيَةَ أَيَّامٍ
and eight days
എട്ടു ദിനവും (പകലും)
ḥusūman
حُسُومًا
(in) succession
തുടര്‍ച്ചയായി, നശിപ്പിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന നിലയില്‍
fatarā
فَتَرَى
so you would see
അപ്പോള്‍ നിനക്കു കാണാം
l-qawma
ٱلْقَوْمَ
the people
ജനതയെ
fīhā
فِيهَا
therein
അതില്‍ (കാറ്റില്‍) അവയില്‍ (ദിനരാത്രങ്ങളില്‍)
ṣarʿā
صَرْعَىٰ
fallen
വീഴ്ത്തപ്പെട്ട (വീണു കിടക്കുന്ന)വരായി
ka-annahum
كَأَنَّهُمْ
as if they were
അവരാണെന്ന പോലെ
aʿjāzu
أَعْجَازُ
trunks
തടികള്‍, മുരടുകള്‍
nakhlin
نَخْلٍ
(of) date-palms
ഈത്തപ്പനയുടെ
khāwiyatin
خَاوِيَةٍ
hollow
കടപുഴങ്ങിവീണ
Sakhkharahaa 'alaihim sab'a la yaalinw wa samaaniyata ayyaamin husooman fataral qawma feehaa sar'aa ka annahum a'jaazu nakhlin khaawiyah (al-Ḥāq̈q̈ah 69:7)
English Sahih:
Which He [i.e., Allah] imposed upon them for seven nights and eight days in succession, so you would see the people therein fallen as if they were hollow trunks of palm trees. (Al-Haqqah [69] : 7)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
ഏഴു രാവും എട്ടു പകലും ഇടതടവില്ലാതെ അല്ലാഹു അതിനെ അവരുടെ നേരെ തിരിച്ചുവിട്ടു. അപ്പോള്‍ നുരുമ്പിയ ഈത്തപ്പനത്തടികള്‍ പോലെ ആ കാറ്റിലവര്‍ ഉയിരറ്റു കിടക്കുന്നത് നിനക്ക് കാണാമായിരുന്നു. (അല്‍ഹാഖ [69] : 7)
