۞ اِنَّ شَرَّ الدَّوَاۤبِّ عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ الصُّمُّ الْبُكْمُ الَّذِيْنَ لَا يَعْقِلُوْنَ ( الأنفال: ٢٢ )
Inna sharrad dawaaabbi 'indal laahis summul bukmul lazeena laa ya'qiloon (al-ʾAnfāl 8:22)
English Sahih:
Indeed, the worst of living creatures in the sight of Allah are the deaf and dumb who do not use reason [i.e., the disbelievers]. (Al-Anfal [8] : 22)

തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അല്ലാഹുവിങ്കല്‍ ഏറ്റം നികൃഷ്ടജീവികള്‍ ഒന്നും ചിന്തിച്ചു മനസ്സിലാക്കാത്ത ഊമകളും ബധിരരുമാണ്. (അല്‍അന്‍ഫാല്‍ [8] : 22)

തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ജന്തുക്കളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില്‍ അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ അടുക്കല്‍ ഏറ്റവും മോശമായവര്‍ ചിന്തിച്ചു മനസ്സിലാക്കാത്ത ഊമകളും ബധിരന്മാരുമാകുന്നു. [1]
[1] അല്ലാഹു അവരെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചത് സംസാരശേഷിയും കേള്‍വിയും ഉള്ളവരായിട്ടു തന്നെയാണ്. പക്ഷേ, അവര്‍ സത്യം തുറന്നുപറയാനോ സത്യം ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചു കേള്‍ക്കാനോ തയ്യാറില്ലാത്തതിനാല്‍ ഫലത്തില്‍ അവര്‍ ഊമകളും ബധിരരുമായിരിക്കുന്നു.
