كَدَأْبِ اٰلِ فِرْعَوْنَۙ وَالَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْۗ كَفَرُوْا بِاٰيٰتِ اللّٰهِ فَاَخَذَهُمُ اللّٰهُ بِذُنُوْبِهِمْۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ قَوِيٌّ شَدِيْدُ الْعِقَابِ ( الأنفال: ٥٢ )
Kadaabi Aali Fir'awna wal lazeena min qablihim; kafaroo bi Aayaatil laahi fa akhazahu mul laahu bizunoobihim; innal laaha qawiyyun shadeedul 'iqaab (al-ʾAnfāl 8:52)
English Sahih:
[Theirs is] like the custom of the people of Pharaoh and of those before them. They disbelieved in the signs of Allah, so Allah seized them for their sins. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and severe in penalty. (Al-Anfal [8] : 52)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
ഇത് ഫറവോന്സംഘത്തിനും അവരുടെ മുമ്പുള്ളവര്ക്കും സംഭവിച്ചപോലെത്തന്നെയാണ്. അവര് അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ വചനങ്ങളെ തള്ളിപ്പറഞ്ഞു. അപ്പോള് അവരുടെ പാപങ്ങളുടെ പേരില് അല്ലാഹു അവരെ പിടികൂടി. തീര്ച്ചയായും അല്ലാഹു സര്വശക്തനാണ്. കഠിനമായി ശിക്ഷിക്കുന്നവനും. (അല്അന്ഫാല് [8] : 52)

ഫിര്ഔന്റെ ആളുകളുടെയും അവരുടെ മുമ്പുള്ളവരുടെയും സമ്പ്രദായം പോലെത്തന്നെ. അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങളെ അവര് നിഷേധിക്കുകയും, അപ്പോള് അവരുടെ പാപങ്ങള് കാരണമായി അല്ലാഹു അവരെ പിടികൂടുകയും ചെയ്തു. തീര്ച്ചയായും അല്ലാഹു ശക്തനും കഠിനമായി ശിക്ഷിക്കുന്നവനുമാണ്.
