وَاِذَا تُتْلٰى عَلَيْهِمْ اٰيٰتُنَا قَالُوْا قَدْ سَمِعْنَا لَوْ نَشَاۤءُ لَقُلْنَا مِثْلَ هٰذَآ ۙاِنْ هٰذَآ اِلَّآ اَسَاطِيْرُ الْاَوَّلِيْنَ ( الأنفال: ٣١ )
wa-idhā
وَإِذَا
And when
Dhe kur
tut'lā
تُتْلَىٰ
are recited
(u) recitohen
ʿalayhim
عَلَيْهِمْ
to them
atyre
āyātunā
ءَايَٰتُنَا
Our Verses
ajetet Tona
qālū
قَالُوا۟
they say
ata thonë
qad
قَدْ
"Verily
"Sigurisht
samiʿ'nā
سَمِعْنَا
we have heard
kemi dëgjuar.
law
لَوْ
if
Sikur
nashāu
نَشَآءُ
we wish
(të) dëshironim
laqul'nā
لَقُلْنَا
surely, we could say
do të thonim
mith'la
مِثْلَ
like
ngjashëm
hādhā
هَٰذَآۙ
this
(me) këtë.
in
إِنْ
Not
Nuk (është)
hādhā
هَٰذَآ
is this
kjo
illā
إِلَّآ
but
përveç
asāṭīru
أَسَٰطِيرُ
tales
mite
l-awalīna
ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
(of) the former (people)"
të të parëve".
Wa izaa tutlaa 'alaihim Aayaatunaa qaaloo qad sami'naa law nashaaa'u laqulnaa misla haazaaa in haazaaa illaaa asaateerul awwaleen (al-ʾAnfāl 8:31)
English Sahih:
And when Our verses are recited to them, they say, "We have heard. If we willed, we could say [something] like this. This is not but legends of the former peoples." (Al-Anfal [8] : 31)
Sherif Ahmeti:
E kur atyre u lexohen ajetet Tona (Kur’ani), thonin: “Kemi dëgjuar (këso fjalësh) dhe sikur të donim edhe ne do të thonim diçka të ngjajshme me këtëdhe se ky nuk është gjë tjetër pos mit i lashtë” (Al-Anfal [8] : 31)
