ثُمَّ بَعَثْنٰهُمْ لِنَعْلَمَ اَيُّ الْحِزْبَيْنِ اَحْصٰى لِمَا لَبِثُوْٓا اَمَدًا ࣖ ( الكهف: ١٢ )

We raised them up

that We make evident

ٱلْحِزْبَيْنِ
(of) the two parties
这两派的
aḥṣā
أَحْصَىٰ
best calculated
他计算
limā
لِمَا
for what

labithū
لَبِثُوٓا۟
(they had) remained
他们停留
amadan
أَمَدًا
(in) time
时期
Summa ba'asnaahum lina'lama ayyul hizbaini ahsaa limaa labisooo amadaa (al-Kahf 18:12)
English Sahih:
Then We awakened them that We might show which of the two factions was most precise in calculating what [extent] they had remained in time. (Al-Kahf [18] : 12)

后来我使他们苏醒，以便我知道两派中的哪一派更能计算他们所停留的时间。 (山洞 [18] : 12)
