وَيَجْعَلُوْنَ لِلّٰهِ الْبَنٰتِ سُبْحٰنَهٗۙ وَلَهُمْ مَّا يَشْتَهُوْنَ ( النحل: ٥٧ )
And they assign
وَيَجْعَلُونَ
Und sie machen
to Allah
لِلَّهِ
für Allah
daughters
ٱلْبَنَٰتِ
Töchter.
Glory be to Him!
سُبْحَٰنَهُۥۙ
Preis sei ihm!
And for them
وَلَهُم
Und für sie selbst,
(is) what
مَّا
(ist) was
they desire
يَشْتَهُونَ
sie begehren.
Wa Yaj`alūna Lillāhi Al-Banāti Subĥānahu Wa Lahum Mā Yashtahūna. (an-Naḥl 16:57)
A. S. F. Bubenheim and N. Elyas:
Und sie bestimmen für Allah die Töchter - Preis sei Ihm! - und für sich (selbst), was sie begehren. ([16] an-Nahl (Die Bienen) : 57)
English Sahih:
And they attribute to Allah daughters – exalted is He – and for them is what they desire [i.e., sons]. ([16] An-Nahl : 57)
