Sahih International:
Whoever should think that Allah will not support him [i.e., Prophet Muhammad (^)] in this world and the Hereafter – let him extend a rope to the ceiling, then cut off [his breath], and let him see: will his effort remove that which enrages [him]? (Al-Hajj [22] : 15)
1 Mufti Taqi Usmani
If someone thinks that Allah will never help him (the prophet) in this world and in the Hereafter, he should stretch a rope to the sky, then cut (Allah’s communication) off (from the prophet) and see whether his effort can really remove what irritates (him).
