وَقَالَتْ طَّاۤىِٕفَةٌ مِّنْ اَهْلِ الْكِتٰبِ اٰمِنُوْا بِالَّذِيْٓ اُنْزِلَ عَلَى الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَجْهَ النَّهَارِ وَاكْفُرُوْٓا اٰخِرَهٗ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُوْنَۚ ( آل عمران: ٧٢ )
Wa qaalat taaa'ifatum min Ahlil Kitaabi aaminoo billazeee unzila 'alal lazeena aamanoo wajhan nahaari wakfurooo aakhirahoo la'alla hum yarji'oon (ʾĀl ʿImrān 3:72)
Sahih International:
And a faction of the People of the Scripture say [to each other], "Believe in that which was revealed to the believers at the beginning of the day and reject it at its end that perhaps they will return [i.e., abandon their religion], (Ali 'Imran [3] : 72)

And a group from the people of the Book said (to their people), “Believe in what has been revealed to the believers in the early part of the day, and disbelieve at the end of it, so that they may turn back.
