وَاٰيَةٌ لَّهُمُ الْاَرْضُ الْمَيْتَةُ ۖاَحْيَيْنٰهَا وَاَخْرَجْنَا مِنْهَا حَبًّا فَمِنْهُ يَأْكُلُوْنَ ( يس: ٣٣ )
waāyatun
وَءَايَةٌ
And a Sign
lahumu
لَّهُمُ
for them
l-arḍu
ٱلْأَرْضُ
(is) the earth
l-maytatu
ٱلْمَيْتَةُ
dead
aḥyaynāhā
أَحْيَيْنَٰهَا
We give it life
wa-akhrajnā
وَأَخْرَجْنَا
and We bring forth
min'hā
مِنْهَا
from it
ḥabban
حَبًّا
grain
famin'hu
فَمِنْهُ
and from it
yakulūna
يَأْكُلُونَ
they eat
Wa Aayatul lahumul ardul maitatu ahyainaahaa wa akhrajnaa minhaa habban faminhu yaakuloon (Yāʾ Sīn 36:33)
Sahih International:
And a sign for them is the dead earth. We have brought it to life and brought forth from it grain, and from it they eat. (Ya-Sin [36] : 33)
