As-Saffat Verse 106

That was truly a revealing test.

This was indeed a revealing test.

This is indeed the manifest trial.'

it was a test to prove [their true characters]-

Verily that! that was a trial manifest.

For this was obviously a trial-

This was indeed a plain trial.

That was indeed a trying test.

Indeed this was a clear test.

This was indeed a manifest test.’

Behold, all this was indeed a trial, clear.

That was obviously a disciplinary test (crowned with a mighty reward,)

That truly that it is (E) the test, the clear/evident

Indeed this was a clear test.

Most surely this is a manifest trial

Verily, that indeed was a manifest trial

Thou has indeed fulfilled the vision. Thus do We reward the doers of good.

Most surely this is a manifest trial.

Lo! that verily was a clear test.

It was certainly an open trial.

That was indeed a clear trial.

Verily, that indeed was a manifest trial.

that surely was a manifest trial,

This was certainly an evident test.

Truly this, sacrifice to which he was commanded, was indeed a clear test', that is to say, the ultimate test [of faith].

Verily, that indeed was a manifest trial.

meaning, it was clearly a test when he was commanded to sacrifice his son, so, he hastened to do it, in submission to the command of Allah and in obedience to Him.

Allah said;

وَإِبْرَهِيمَ الَّذِى وَفَّى

And of Ibrahim who fulfilled all that. (53;37)

and,

وَفَدَيْنَاهُ بِذِبْحٍ عَظِيمٍ

This was indeed a severe but a sure test of action and reaction echoing the true belief and the prevalent inclination
