As-Saffat Verse 95

He argued, “How can you worship what you carve ˹with your own hands˺,

He said, “Do you worship what you yourselves carve,

He said, 'Do you serve what you hew,

but he said, ‘How can you worship things you carve with your own hands,

He said: worship ye that which carve.

He said; "Worship ye that which ye have (yourselves) carved?

Abraham said to them: “Do you worship what you yourselves have carved with your own hands

"Why do you worship these you carve yourselves," he asked,

He said, “What! You worship what you yourselves have sculpted?”

He said, ‘Do you worship what you have yourselves carved,

He said: "Do you worship things that you yourselves have carved,

He said (to them), `You worship the things you have chiselled yourselves;

He said: "Do you worship what you carve out/cut ?"

He said, “What! You worship what you yourselves have sculpted?”

Said he, "Worship you what you yourselves carve out,

He said: "Worship you that which you (yourselves) carve?

Then they came to him, hastening.

Said he: What! do you worship what you hew out?

He said: Worship ye that which ye yourselves do carve

He said, "How can you worship what you yourselves have carved

He said: 'Do you worship what you, yourselves have carved

He said: "Worship you that which you (yourselves) carve"

but he said, "How can you worship things you carve with your own hands,

He said, “Do you worship what you carve?

He said, to them in reproach; `Do you worship what you [yourselves] have carved, out of stone and other materials, idols,

He said;Worship you that which you carve,

meaning, `do you worship instead of Allah idols which you yourselves carve and fashion with your own hands?'

وَاللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمْ وَمَا تَعْمَلُونَ
