وَلَوْ اَنَّهُمْ رَضُوْا مَآ اٰتٰىهُمُ اللّٰهُ وَرَسُوْلُهٗۙ وَقَالُوْا حَسْبُنَا اللّٰهُ سَيُؤْتِيْنَا اللّٰهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهٖ وَرَسُوْلُهٗٓ اِنَّآ اِلَى اللّٰهِ رَاغِبُوْنَ ࣖ   ( التوبة: ٥٩ )

walaw
وَلَوْ
And if
annahum
أَنَّهُمْ
[that] they
raḍū
رَضُوا۟
(were) satisfied
مَآ
(with) what
ātāhumu
ءَاتَىٰهُمُ
Allah gave them
l-lahu
ٱللَّهُ
Allah gave them
warasūluhu
وَرَسُولُهُۥ
and His Messenger
waqālū
وَقَالُوا۟
and said
ḥasbunā
حَسْبُنَا
"Sufficient for us
l-lahu
ٱللَّهُ
(is) Allah
sayu'tīnā
سَيُؤْتِينَا
Allah will give us
l-lahu
ٱللَّهُ
Allah will give us
min
مِن
of
faḍlihi
فَضْلِهِۦ
His Bounty
warasūluhu
وَرَسُولُهُۥٓ
and His Messenger
innā
إِنَّآ
Indeed, we
ilā
إِلَى
to
l-lahi
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
rāghibūna
رَٰغِبُونَ
turn our hopes"

Wa law annahum radoo maaa aataahumul laahu wa Rasooluhoo wa qaaloo hasbunal laahu wayu'teenallaahu min fadlihee wa Rasooluhooo innaaa ilallaahi raaghiboon (at-Tawbah 9:59)

Sahih International:

If only they had been satisfied with what Allah and His Messenger gave them and said, "Sufficient for us is Allah; Allah will give us of His bounty, and [so will] His Messenger; indeed, we are desirous toward Allah," [it would have been better for them]. (At-Tawbah [9] : 59)

1 Mufti Taqi Usmani

Would that they were content with what Allah and His Messenger had given to them, and were to say, “Allah is sufficient for us; Allah and His Messenger will give us (more) out of His grace (when they so will). Indeed, we crave for (the pleasure of) Allah alone.”
