اِذْ تَبَرَّاَ الَّذِيْنَ اتُّبِعُوْا مِنَ الَّذِيْنَ اتَّبَعُوْا وَرَاَوُا الْعَذَابَ وَتَقَطَّعَتْ بِهِمُ الْاَسْبَابُ  ( البقرة: ١٦٦ )

[and] will be cut off
et seront coupés

بِهِمُ
for them
entre eux
l-asbābu
ٱلْأَسْبَابُ
the relations
les liens.

Iz tabarra al lazeenat tubi'oo minal lazeenattaba'oo wa ra awul 'azaaba wa taqatta'at bihimul asbaab (al-Baq̈arah 2:166)

English Sahih:

[And they should consider that] when those who have been followed disassociate themselves from those who followed [them], and they [all] see the punishment, and cut off from them are the ties [of relationship], (Al-Baqarah [2] : 166)

Muhammad Hamidullah:

Quand les meneurs désavoueront les suiveurs à la vue du châtiment, les liens entre eux seront bien brisés! (Al-Baqarah [2] : 166)

En raison des terribles et effroyables scènes dont ils seront témoins le Jour de la Résurrection, les meneurs se désavoueront de ceux qui les suivaient. Ce jour-là, aucune voie ni aucun moyen de salut ne leur profiteront.
