كَاَنَّهُمْ يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَهَا لَمْ يَلْبَثُوْٓا اِلَّا عَشِيَّةً اَوْ ضُحٰىهَا ࣖ ( النازعات: ٤٦ )
ka-annahum
كَأَنَّهُمْ
As though they
Comme s’ils,

يَرَوْنَهَا
they see it

يَلْبَثُوٓا۟
they had remained

ʿashiyyatan
عَشِيَّةً
an evening
un soir avant le coucher du soleil

أَوْ

ḍuḥāhā
ضُحَىٰهَا
a morning thereof
son matin.
Ka annahum Yawma yarawnahaa lam yalbasooo illaa 'ashiyyatan aw duhaahaa (an-Nāziʿāt 79:46)
English Sahih:
It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof. (An-Nazi'at [79] : 46)
Muhammad Hamidullah:
Le jour où ils la verront, il leur semblera n'avoir demeuré qu'un soir ou un matin. (An-Nazi'ate [79] : 46)
