وَاَمَّآ اِذَا مَا ابْتَلٰىهُ فَقَدَرَ عَلَيْهِ رِزْقَهٗ ەۙ فَيَقُوْلُ رَبِّيْٓ اَهَانَنِۚ ( الفجر: ١٦ )
wa-ammā
وَأَمَّآ
But
et quant à
idhā
إِذَا
when
quand
mā
مَا

quand
ib'talāhu
ٱبْتَلَىٰهُ
He try him
Il l’éprouve sévèrement et visiblement
faqadara
فَقَدَرَ
and restricts
donc Il restreint
ʿalayhi
عَلَيْهِ
for him
pour lui
riz'qahu
رِزْقَهُۥ
his provision
son approvisionnement,
fayaqūlu
فَيَقُولُ
then he says
alors il dit :
rabbī
رَبِّىٓ
"My Lord
« Mon Maître
ahānani
أَهَٰنَنِ
(has) humiliated me"
m’a humilié ! »
Wa ammaaa izaa mabtalaahu faqadara 'alaihi rizqahoo fa yaqoolu Rabbeee ahaanan (al-Fajr 89:16)
English Sahih:
But when He tries him and restricts his provision, he says, "My Lord has humiliated me." (Al-Fajr [89] : 16)
Muhammad Hamidullah:
Mais par contre, quand Il l'éprouve en lui restreignant sa subsistance, il dit: «Mon Seigneur m'a avili». (Al-Fajr [89] : 16)
