اَوَكُلَّمَا عٰهَدُوْا عَهْدًا نَّبَذَهٗ فَرِيْقٌ مِّنْهُمْ ۗ بَلْ اَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُوْنَ ( البقرة: ١٠٠ )
And is (it not that) whenever
أَوَكُلَّمَا
क्या और जब कभी
they took
عَٰهَدُوا۟
उन्होंने अहद किया
a covenant
عَهْدًا
कोई अहद
threw it away
نَّبَذَهُۥ
फेंक दिया उसे
a party
فَرِيقٌ
एक गिरोह ने
of them?
مِّنْهُمۚ
उनमें से
Nay
بَلْ
बल्कि
most of them
أَكْثَرُهُمْ
अक्सर उनके
(do) not
لَا
नहीं वो ईमान लाते
believe
يُؤْمِنُونَ
नहीं वो ईमान लाते
Awakullama 'ahadoo 'ahdan nabathahu fareequn minhum bal aktharuhum la yuminoona (al-Baq̈arah 2:100)

क्या यह एक निश्चित नीति है कि जब कि उन्होंने कोई वचन दिया तो उनके एक गिरोह ने उसे उठा फेंका? बल्कि उनमें अधिकतर ईमान ही नहीं रखते
English Sahih:
Is it not [true] that every time they took a covenant a party of them threw it away? But, [in fact], most of them do not believe. ([2] Al-Baqarah : 100)
