يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا لَا تَدْخُلُوْا بُيُوْتًا غَيْرَ بُيُوْتِكُمْ حَتّٰى تَسْتَأْنِسُوْا وَتُسَلِّمُوْا عَلٰٓى اَهْلِهَاۗ ذٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُوْنَ ( النور: ٢٧ )
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la tadkhuloo buyootan ghayra buyootikum hatta tastanisoo watusallimoo 'ala ahliha thalikum khayrun lakum la'allakum tathakkaroona (an-Nūr 24:27)

ऐ ईमान लानेवालो! अपने घरों के सिवा दूसरे घऱों में प्रवेश करो, जब तक कि रज़ामन्दी हासिल न कर लो और उन घरवालों को सलाम न कर लो। यही तुम्हारे लिए उत्तम है, कदाचित तुम ध्यान रखो
English Sahih:
O you who have believed, do not enter houses other than your own houses until you ascertain welcome and greet their inhabitants. That is best for you; perhaps you will be reminded [i.e., advised]. ([24] An-Nur : 27)
