وَدَّتْ طَّاۤىِٕفَةٌ مِّنْ اَهْلِ الْكِتٰبِ لَوْ يُضِلُّوْنَكُمْۗ وَمَا يُضِلُّوْنَ اِلَّآ اَنْفُسَهُمْ وَمَا يَشْعُرُوْنَ ( آل عمران: ٦٩ )
Wished
وَدَّت
चाहा
a group
طَّآئِفَةٌ
एक गिरोह ने
from
مِّنْ
अहले किताब में से
(the) People
أَهْلِ
अहले किताब में से
(of) the Book
ٱلْكِتَٰبِ
अहले किताब में से
if
لَوْ
काश
they could lead you astray
يُضِلُّونَكُمْ
वो गुमराह कर दें तुम्हें
and not
وَمَا
और नहीं
they lead astray
يُضِلُّونَ
वो गुमराह करते
except
إِلَّآ
मगर
themselves
أَنفُسَهُمْ
अपने नफ़्सों को
and not
وَمَا
और नहीं
they perceive
يَشْعُرُونَ
वो शऊर रखते
Waddat taifatun min ahli alkitabi law yudilloonakum wama yudilloona illa anfusahum wama yash'uroona (ʾĀl ʿImrān 3:69)

किताबवालों में से एक गिरोह के लोगों की कामना है कि काश! वे तुम्हें पथभ्रष्ट कर सकें, जबकि वे केवल अपने-आपकों पथभ्रष्ट कर रहे है! किन्तु उन्हें इसका एहसास नहीं
English Sahih:
A faction of the People of the Scripture wish they could mislead you. But they do not mislead except themselves, and they perceive [it] not. ([3] Ali 'Imran : 69)
