وَقَالُوْا لَوْ شَاۤءَ الرَّحْمٰنُ مَا عَبَدْنٰهُمْ ۗمَا لَهُمْ بِذٰلِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ اِنْ هُمْ اِلَّا يَخْرُصُوْنَۗ ( الزخرف: ٢٠ )
And they say
وَقَالُوا۟
और वो कहते हैं
"If
لَوْ
अगर
had willed
شَآءَ
चाहता
the Most Gracious
ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ
रहमान
we would not have worshipped them"
مَا
ना
we would not have worshipped them"
عَبَدْنَٰهُمۗ
इबादत करते हम उनकी
Not
مَّا
नहीं
they have
لَهُم
उनके लिए
about that
بِذَٰلِكَ
इसका
any
مِنْ
कोई इल्म
knowledge
عِلْمٍۖ
कोई इल्म
Nothing
إِنْ
नहीं
they (do)
هُمْ
वो
but
إِلَّا
मगर
lie
يَخْرُصُونَ
वो अंदाज़े लगाते हैं
Waqaloo law shaa alrrahmanu ma 'abadnahum ma lahum bithalika min 'ilmin in hum illa yakhrusoona (az-Zukhruf 43:20)
Muhammad Faruq Khan Sultanpuri & Muhammad Ahmed:
वे कहते है कि 'यदि रहमान चाहता तो हम उन्हें न पूजते।' उन्हें इसका कुछ ज्ञान नहीं। वे तो बस अटकल दौड़ाते है
English Sahih:
And they said, "If the Most Merciful had willed, we would not have worshipped them." They have of that no knowledge. They are not but misjudging. ([43] Az-Zukhruf : 20)
