يُنَادُوْنَهُمْ اَلَمْ نَكُنْ مَّعَكُمْۗ قَالُوْا بَلٰى وَلٰكِنَّكُمْ فَتَنْتُمْ اَنْفُسَكُمْ وَتَرَبَّصْتُمْ وَارْتَبْتُمْ وَغَرَّتْكُمُ الْاَمَانِيُّ حَتّٰى جَاۤءَ اَمْرُ اللّٰهِ وَغَرَّكُمْ بِاللّٰهِ الْغَرُوْرُ ( الحديد: ١٤ )
Yunadoonahum alam nakun ma'akum qaloo bala walakinnakum fatantum anfusakum watarabbastum wairtabtum wagharratkumu alamaniyyu hatta jaa amru Allahi wagharrakum biAllahi algharooru (al-Ḥadīd 57:14)

वे उन्हें पुकारकर कहेंगे, 'क्या हम तुम्हारे साथी नहीं थे?' वे कहेंगे, 'क्यों नहीं? किन्तु तुमने तो अपने आपको फ़ितने (गुमराही) में डाला और प्रतीक्षा करते रहे और सन्देह में पड़े रहे और कामनाओं ने तुम्हें धोखे में डाले रखा है
English Sahih:
They [i.e., the hypocrites] will call to them [i.e., the believers], "Were we not with you?" They will say, "Yes, but you afflicted yourselves and awaited [misfortune for us] and doubted, and wishful thinking deluded you until there came the command of Allah. And the Deceiver [i.e., Satan] deceived you concerning Allah. ([57] Al-Hadid : 14)

(क्यों भाई) क्या हम कभी तुम्हारे साथ न थे तो मोमिनीन कहेंगे थे तो ज़रूर मगर तुम ने तो ख़ुद अपने आपको बला में डाला और (हमारे हक़ में गर्दिशों के) मुन्तज़िर हैं और (दीन में) शक़ किया किए और तुम्हें (तुम्हारी) तमन्नाओं ने धोखे में रखा यहाँ तक कि ख़ुदा का हुक्म आ पहुँचा और एक बड़े दग़ाबाज़ (शैतान) ने ख़ुदा के बारे में तुमको फ़रेब दिया
