اِنَّمَا التَّوۡبَةُ عَلَى اللّٰهِ لِلَّذِيۡنَ يَعۡمَلُوۡنَ السُّوۡٓءَ بِجَهَالَةٍ ثُمَّ يَتُوۡبُوۡنَ مِنۡ قَرِيۡبٍ فَاُولٰٓٮِٕكَ يَتُوۡبُ اللّٰهُ عَلَيۡهِمۡؕ وَكَانَ اللّٰهُ عَلِيۡمًا حَكِيۡمًا(النساء :17)
Innama alttawbatu 'ala Allahi lillatheena ya'maloona alssooa bijahalatin thumma yatooboona min qareebin faolaika yatoobu Allahu 'alayhim wakana Allahu 'aleeman hakeeman
Sahih International:
The repentance accepted by Allah is only for those who do wrong in ignorance [or carelessness] and then repent soon after. It is those to whom Allah will turn in forgiveness, and Allah is ever Knowing and Wise.
وَاِذَا جَآءَكَ الَّذِيۡنَ يُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ بِاٰيٰتِنَا فَقُلۡ سَلَمٌ عَلَيۡكُمۡ كَتَبَ رَبُّكُمۡ عَلٰى نَفۡسِهِ الرَّحۡمَةَ ۙ اَنَّهٗ مَنۡ عَمِلَ مِنۡكُمۡ سُوۡٓءًۢا بِجَهَالَةٍ ثُمَّ تَابَ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِهٖ وَاَصۡلَحَۙ فَاَنَّهٗ غَفُوۡرٌ رَّحِيۡمٌ(الأنعام :54)
Waitha jaaka allatheena yuminoona biayatina faqul salamun 'alaykum kataba rabbukum 'ala nafsihi alrrahmata annahu man 'amila minkum sooan bijahalatin thumma taba min ba'dihi waaslaha faannahu ghafoorun raheemun
Sahih International:
And when those come to you who believe in Our verses, say, "Peace be upon you. Your Lord has decreed upon Himself mercy; that any of you who does wrong out of ignorance and then repents after that and corrects himself - indeed, He is Forgiving and Merciful."
