وَلَمَّا جَآءَتۡ رُسُلُنَاۤ اِبۡرٰهِيۡمَ بِالۡبُشۡرٰىۙ قَالُـوۡۤا اِنَّا مُهۡلِكُوۡۤا اَهۡلِ هٰذِهِ الۡقَرۡيَةِ ۚ اِنَّ اَهۡلَهَا كَانُوۡا ظٰلِمِيۡنَ(العنكبوت :31)
وَلَمَّا
And when
جَآءَتْ
came
رُسُلُنَآ
Our messengers
إِبْرَٰهِيمَ
(to) Ibrahim
بِٱلْبُشْرَىٰ
with the glad tidings
قَالُوٓا۟
they said
إِنَّا
"Indeed we
مُهْلِكُوٓا۟
(are) going to destroy
أَهْلِ
(the) people
هَٰذِهِ
(of) this
ٱلْقَرْيَةِۖ
town
إِنَّ
Indeed
أَهْلَهَا
its people
كَانُوا۟
are
ظَٰلِمِينَ
wrongdoers"
Walamma jaat rusuluna ibraheema bialbushra qaloo inna muhlikoo ahli hathihi alqaryati inna ahlaha kanoo thalimeena
Sahih International:
And when Our messengers came to Abraham with the good tidings, they said, "Indeed, we will destroy the people of that Lot's city. Indeed, its people have been wrongdoers."
ثُمَّ دَمَّرۡنَا الۡاٰخَرِيۡنَ(الصافات :136)
ثُمَّ
Then
دَمَّرْنَا
We destroyed
ٱلْءَاخَرِينَ
the others
Thumma dammarna alakhareena
Sahih International:
Then We destroyed the others.
