وَلَمَّا جَاۤءَتْ رُسُلُنَآ اِبْرٰهِيْمَ بِالْبُشْرٰىۙ قَالُوْٓا اِنَّا مُهْلِكُوْٓا اَهْلِ هٰذِهِ الْقَرْيَةِ ۚاِنَّ اَهْلَهَا كَانُوْا ظٰلِمِيْنَ ۚ  ( العنكبوت: ٣١ )

walammā
وَلَمَّا
And when
jāat
جَآءَتْ
came
rusulunā
رُسُلُنَآ
Our messengers
ib'rāhīma
إِبْرَٰهِيمَ
(to) Ibrahim
bil-bush'rā
بِٱلْبُشْرَىٰ
with the glad tidings
qālū
قَالُوٓا۟
they said
innā
إِنَّا
"Indeed we
muh'likū
مُهْلِكُوٓا۟
(are) going to destroy
ahli
أَهْلِ
(the) people
hādhihi
هَٰذِهِ
(of) this
l-qaryati
ٱلْقَرْيَةِۖ
town
inna
إِنَّ
Indeed
ahlahā
أَهْلَهَا
its people
kānū
كَانُوا۟
are
ẓālimīna
ظَٰلِمِينَ
wrongdoers"

Wa lammaa jaaa'at Rusulunaaa Ibraaheema bil bushraa qaalooo innaa muhlikoo ahli haazihil qaryati inna ahlahaa kaanoo zaalimeen (al-ʿAnkabūt 29:31)

Sahih International:

And when Our messengers [i.e., angels] came to Abraham with the good tidings, they said, "Indeed, we will destroy the people of that [i.e., Lot's] city. Indeed, its people have been wrongdoers." (Al-'Ankabut [29] : 31)

And when Our messengers came to Ibrāhīm with the good news, they said, “We are going to destroy the people of this town. Surely its people have been transgressors.”
