وَمَا مَنَعَ النَّاسَ اَنْ يُّؤْمِنُوْٓا اِذْ جَاۤءَهُمُ الْهُدٰٓى اِلَّآ اَنْ قَالُوْٓا اَبَعَثَ اللّٰهُ بَشَرًا رَّسُوْلًا ( الإسراء: ٩٤ )
wamā manaʿa
وَمَا مَنَعَ
And what prevented
മുടക്കിയിട്ടില്ല, തടസ്സപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടില്ല
l-nāsa
ٱلنَّاسَ
the people
മനുഷ്യരെ
an yu'minū
أَن يُؤْمِنُوٓا۟
that they believe
അവര്‍ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നതിനു, വിശ്വസിക്കലിനെ
idh jāahumu
إِذْ جَآءَهُمُ
when came to them
അവര്‍ക്കു വന്നപ്പോള്‍
l-hudā
ٱلْهُدَىٰٓ
the guidance
സന്‍മാര്‍ഗ്ഗം, മാര്‍ഗ്ഗദര്‍ശനം
illā an qālū
إِلَّآ أَن قَالُوٓا۟
except that they said
അവര്‍ പറഞ്ഞതല്ലാതെ, പറയലല്ലാതെ
abaʿatha
أَبَعَثَ
"Has Allah sent
അയച്ചു (നിയോഗിച്ചു - എഴുന്നേല്‍പിച്ചു)വോ
l-lahu
ٱللَّهُ
"Has Allah sent
അല്ലാഹു
basharan
بَشَرًا
a human
ഒരു മനുഷ്യനെ, മനുഷ്യനായി
rasūlan
رَّسُولًا
Messenger?"
റസൂലായി, റസൂലിനെ
Wa maa mana'an naasa any yu'minooo iz jaaa'ahumul hudaaa illaaa an qaalooo aba'asal laahu basharar Rasoolaa (al-ʾIsrāʾ 17:94)
English Sahih:
And what prevented the people from believing when guidance came to them except that they said, "Has Allah sent a human messenger?" (Al-Isra [17] : 94)

ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് നേര്‍വഴി വന്നെത്തിയപ്പോഴെല്ലാം അതില്‍ വിശ്വസിക്കാന്‍ അവര്‍ക്ക് തടസ്സമായത് 'അല്ലാഹു ഒരു മനുഷ്യനെയാണോ തന്റെ ദൂതനായി നിയോഗിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്' എന്ന അവരുടെ വാദം മാത്രമാണ്. (അല്‍ഇസ്റാഅ് [17] : 94)
