اِلٰى فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَا۟ىِٕهٖ فَاسْتَكْبَرُوْا وَكَانُوْا قَوْمًا عَالِيْنَ ۚ ( المؤمنون: ٤٦ )
ilā fir'ʿawna
إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ
To Firaun
ഫിര്ഔന്റെ അടുക്കലേക്ക്
wamala-ihi
وَمَلَإِي۟هِۦ
and his chiefs
അവന്റെ പ്രമുഖസംഘത്തിന്റെയും, പ്രധാനികളുടെയും
fa-is'takbarū
فَٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟
but they behaved arrogantly
എന്നിട്ട് അവര് അഹംഭാവം നടിച്ചു
wakānū
وَكَانُوا۟
and they were
അവരായിരുന്നു
qawman
قَوْمًا
a people
ഒരു ജനത
ʿālīna
عَالِينَ
haughty
പൊങ്ങച്ചക്കാരായ (ഔന്നത്യം കാട്ടുന്ന)
Ilaa Fir'awna wa mala'ihee fastakbaroo wa kaanoo qawman 'aaleem (al-Muʾminūn 23:46)
English Sahih:
To Pharaoh and his establishment, but they were arrogant and were a haughty people. (Al-Mu'minun [23] : 46)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
ഫറവോന്റെയും അവന്റെ പ്രമാണിപ്പരിഷകളുടെയും അടുത്തേക്ക്. അപ്പോഴവര് അഹങ്കരിച്ചു. ഔദ്ധത്യം നടിക്കുന്ന ജനതയായിരുന്നു അവര്. (അല്മുഅ്മിനൂന് [23] : 46)
