وَلَىِٕنْ قُتِلْتُمْ فِيْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ اَوْ مُتُّمْ لَمَغْفِرَةٌ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ وَرَحْمَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِّمَّا يَجْمَعُوْنَ ( آل عمران: ١٥٧ )
wala-in qutil'tum
وَلَئِن قُتِلْتُمْ
And if you are killed
നിങ്ങള്‍ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടുവെങ്കില്‍
fī sabīli l-lahi
فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ
in (the) way (of) Allah
അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ മാര്‍ഗത്തില്‍
aw muttum
أَوْ مُتُّمْ
or die[d] -
അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ മരണപ്പെട്ടെങ്കില്‍
lamaghfiratun
لَمَغْفِرَةٌ
certainly forgiveness
തീര്‍ച്ചയായും പാപമോചനം
mina l-lahi
مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ
from Allah
അല്ലാഹുവില്‍ നിന്ന്
waraḥmatun
وَرَحْمَةٌ
and Mercy
കാരുണ്യവും
khayrun
خَيْرٌ
(are) better
ഉത്തമമാണ് നല്ലതാണ്
mimmā yajmaʿūna
مِّمَّا يَجْمَعُونَ
than what they accumulate
അവര്‍ ശേഖരിക്കുന്ന (ഒരുമിച്ച് കൂട്ടുന്ന)തിനേക്കാള്‍
Wa la'in qutiltum fee sabeelil laahi aw muttum lamaghfiratum minal laahi wa rahmatun khairum mimmaa yajma'oon (ʾĀl ʿImrān 3:157)
English Sahih:
And if you are killed in the cause of Allah or die – then forgiveness from Allah and mercy are better than whatever they accumulate [in this world]. (Ali 'Imran [3] : 157)

നിങ്ങള്‍ അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ മാര്‍ഗത്തില്‍ വധിക്കപ്പെടുകയോ മരിക്കുകയോ ആണെങ്കില്‍ ഉറപ്പായും അതിലൂടെ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് അല്ലാഹുവില്‍നിന്നുള്ള പാപമോചനവും കാരുണ്യവും ലഭിക്കും. അവര്‍ വാരിക്കൂട്ടുന്നതിനെക്കാളൊക്കെ ഉത്തമം അതാണ്. (ആലുഇംറാന്‍ [3] : 157)
