وَلَا يَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِيْنَ يَبْخَلُوْنَ بِمَآ اٰتٰىهُمُ اللّٰهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهٖ هُوَ خَيْرًا لَّهُمْ ۗ بَلْ هُوَ شَرٌّ لَّهُمْ ۗ سَيُطَوَّقُوْنَ مَا بَخِلُوْا بِهٖ يَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ ۗ وَلِلّٰهِ مِيْرَاثُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِۗ وَاللّٰهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ خَبِيْرٌ ࣖ ( آل عمران: ١٨٠ )
Wa laa yahsabannal lazeena yabkhaloon bimaa aataahumul lahu min fadilhee huwa khairal lahum bal huwa sharrul lahum sayutaw waqoona maa bakhiloo bihee Yawmal Qiyaamah; wa lillaahi meeraasus samaawaati wal ard; wallaahu bimaa ta'maloona Khabeer (ʾĀl ʿImrān 3:180)
English Sahih:
And let not those who [greedily] withhold what Allah has given them of His bounty ever think that it is better for them. Rather, it is worse for them. Their necks will be encircled by what they withheld on the Day of Resurrection. And to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth. And Allah, of what you do, is [fully] Aware. (Ali 'Imran [3] : 180)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
അല്ലാഹു തന്റെ അനുഗ്രഹമായി നല്കിയ സമ്പത്തില് പിശുക്കുകാണിക്കുന്നവര് തങ്ങള്ക്കത് ഗുണമാണെന്ന് ഒരിക്കലും കരുതരുത്. അതവര്ക്ക് ഹാനികരമാണ്. ഉയിര്ത്തെഴുന്നേല്പുനാളില് അവര് പിശുക്കു കാണിച്ചുണ്ടാക്കിയ ധനത്താല് അവരുടെ കണ്ഠങ്ങളില് വളയമണിയിക്കപ്പെടും. ആകാശഭൂമികളുടെ അന്തിമമായ അവകാശം അല്ലാഹുവിനാണ്. നിങ്ങള് ചെയ്യുന്നതെല്ലാം നന്നായറിയുന്നവനാണ് അല്ലാഹു. (ആലുഇംറാന് [3] : 180)

അല്ലാഹു അവന്റെ അനുഗ്രഹത്തില് നിന്ന് തങ്ങള്ക്കു തന്നിട്ടുള്ളതില് പിശുക്ക് കാണിക്കുന്നവര് അതവര്ക്ക് ഗുണകരമാണെന്ന് ഒരിക്കലും വിചാരിക്കരുത്. അല്ല, അവര്ക്ക് ദോഷകരമാണത്. അവര് പിശുക്ക് കാണിച്ച ധനം കൊണ്ട് ഉയിര്ത്തെഴുന്നേല്പിന്റെ നാളില് അവരുടെ കഴുത്തില് മാല ചാര്ത്തപ്പെടുന്നതാണ്. ആകാശങ്ങളുടെയും ഭൂമിയുടെയും അനന്തരാവകാശം അല്ലാഹുവിനത്രെ. അല്ലാഹു നിങ്ങള് പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നതെല്ലാം സൂക്ഷ്മമായി അറിയുന്നവനാകുന്നു.
