فَاصْبِرْ لِحُكْمِ رَبِّكَ وَلَا تَكُنْ كَصَاحِبِ الْحُوْتِۘ اِذْ نَادٰى وَهُوَ مَكْظُوْمٌۗ ( القلم: ٤٨ )
fa-iṣ'bir
فَٱصْبِرْ
So be patient
ആകയാല് ക്ഷമിക്കുക
liḥuk'mi rabbika
لِحُكْمِ رَبِّكَ
for (the) decision (of) your Lord
നിന്റെ റബ്ബിന്റെ വിധിക്ക്
walā takun
وَلَا تَكُن
and (do) not be
നീ ആകുകയും അരുത്
kaṣāḥibi l-ḥūti
كَصَاحِبِ ٱلْحُوتِ
like (the) companion (of) the fish
മത്സ്യത്തിന്റെ ആളെപ്പോലെ
idh nādā
إِذْ نَادَىٰ
when he called out
അദ്ദേഹം വിളിച്ചപ്പോള്
wahuwa
وَهُوَ
while he
അദ്ദേഹം ആയിക്കൊണ്ട്
makẓūmun
مَكْظُومٌ
(was) distressed
(കോപം - വ്യസനം) നിറഞ്ഞവന്
Fasbir lihkmi rabbika wa laa takun kasaahibil boot; iz naadaa wa huwa makzoom (al-Q̈alam 68:48)
English Sahih:
Then be patient for the decision of your Lord, [O Muhammad], and be not like the companion of the fish [i.e., Jonah] when he called out while he was distressed. (Al-Qalam [68] : 48)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
അതിനാല് നീ നിന്റെ നാഥന്റെ തീരുമാനങ്ങള്ക്കായി ക്ഷമയോടെ കാത്തിരിക്കുക. നീ ആ മത്സ്യക്കാരനെപ്പോലെ ആകരുത്. അദ്ദേഹം കൊടും ദുഃഖിതനായി പ്രാര്ഥിച്ച സന്ദര്ഭം ഓര്ക്കുക. (അല്ഖലം [68] : 48)
