خَاشِعَةً اَبْصَارُهُمْ تَرْهَقُهُمْ ذِلَّةٌ ۗذٰلِكَ الْيَوْمُ الَّذِيْ كَانُوْا يُوْعَدُوْنَ ࣖ ( المعارج: ٤٤ )

خَٰشِعَةً
Humbled
താഴ്മ (വിനയം) കാട്ടികൊണ്ട്
abṣāruhum
أَبْصَٰرُهُمْ
their eyes
അവരുടെ ദൃഷ്ടികള്, കണ്ണുകള്
tarhaquhum
تَرْهَقُهُمْ
will cover them
അവരെ ആവരണം ചെയ്യും, മൂടും (ബാധിക്കും)
dhillatun
ذِلَّةٌۚ
humiliation
നിന്ദ്യത
dhālika
ذَٰلِكَ
That
അത്, അതത്രെ
l-yawmu
ٱلْيَوْمُ
(is) the Day
ദിവസമാണ്, ദിവസം
alladhī kānū yūʿadūna
ٱلَّذِى كَانُوا۟ يُوعَدُونَ
which they were promised
അവരോട് വാഗ്ദത്തം (താക്കീത്) ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടിരുന്ന
Khaashi'atan absaaruhum tarhaquhum zillah; zaalikal yawmul lazee kaanoo yoo'adoon (al-Maʿārij 70:44)
English Sahih:
Their eyes humbled, humiliation will cover them. That is the Day which they had been promised. (Al-Ma'arij [70] : 44)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
കണ്ണുകള് താണുപോയ അവസ്ഥയിലായിരിക്കും അന്നവര്. അപമാനം അവരെ ആവരണം ചെയ്തിരിക്കും. അവര്ക്ക് മുന്നറിയിപ്പു നല്കപ്പെട്ടിരുന്ന ദിനം അതത്രെ. (അല്മആരിജ് [70] : 44)
