اِذْ يُرِيْكَهُمُ اللّٰهُ فِيْ مَنَامِكَ قَلِيْلًاۗ وَلَوْ اَرٰىكَهُمْ كَثِيْرًا لَّفَشِلْتُمْ وَلَتَنَازَعْتُمْ فِى الْاَمْرِ وَلٰكِنَّ اللّٰهَ سَلَّمَۗ اِنَّهٗ عَلِيْمٌۢ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُوْرِ ( الأنفال: ٤٣ )
Iz yureekahumul laahu fee manaamika qaleela; wa law araakahum kaseeral lafashiltum wa latanaaza'tum fil amri wa laakinnal laaha sallam; innahoo 'aleemum bizaatis sudoor (al-ʾAnfāl 8:43)
English Sahih:
[Remember, O Muhammad], when Allah showed them to you in your dream as few; and if He had shown them to you as many, you [believers] would have lost courage and would have disputed in the matter [of whether to fight], but Allah saved [you from that]. Indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts. (Al-Anfal [8] : 43)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
അല്ലാഹു സ്വപ്നത്തിലൂടെ അവരെ വളരെ കുറച്ചുപേര് മാത്രമായി നിനക്ക് കാണിച്ചുതന്ന സന്ദര്ഭം. നിനക്ക് അവരെ എണ്ണക്കൂടുതലുള്ളതായി കാണിച്ചു തന്നിരുന്നെങ്കില് ഉറപ്പായും നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് ധൈര്യക്ഷയമുണ്ടാകുമായിരുന്നു. യുദ്ധത്തിന്റെ കാര്യത്തില് നിങ്ങള് ഭിന്നിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുമായിരുന്നു. എന്നാല് അല്ലാഹു രക്ഷിച്ചു. തീര്ച്ചയായും മനസ്സുകളിലുള്ളതെല്ലാം അറിയുന്നവനാണ് അവന്. (അല്അന്ഫാല് [8] : 43)

അവരെ (ശത്രുക്കളെ) അല്ലാഹു നിനക്ക് നിന്റെ സ്വപ്നത്തില് കുറച്ച് പേര് മാത്രമായി കാണിച്ചുതന്നിരുന്ന സന്ദര്ഭം (ഓര്ക്കുക.) നിനക്ക് അവരെ അധികമായി കാണിച്ചിരുന്നെങ്കില് നിങ്ങളുടെ ധൈര്യം ക്ഷയിക്കുകയും, കാര്യത്തില് നിങ്ങള് ഭിന്നിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുമായിരുന്നു. പക്ഷെ അല്ലാഹു രക്ഷിച്ചു. തീര്ച്ചയായും അവന് ഹൃദയങ്ങളിലുള്ളത് അറിയുന്നവനാകുന്നു.
