رَضُوْا بِاَنْ يَّكُوْنُوْا مَعَ الْخَوَالِفِ وَطُبِعَ عَلٰى قُلُوْبِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يَفْقَهُوْنَ ( التوبة: ٨٧ )
raḍū
رَضُوا۟
They (were) satisfied
അവര്‍ തൃപ്‌തിപ്പെട്ടു
bi-an yakūnū
بِأَن يَكُونُوا۟
to be
അവരായിരിക്കുന്നതിന്‌
maʿa l-khawālifi
مَعَ ٱلْخَوَالِفِ
with those who stay behind
പിന്തിനില്‍ക്കുന്ന സ്ത്രീകളുടെ കൂടെ (നന്‍മയില്ലാത്ത) പിന്നോക്കക്കാരുടെ ഒപ്പം
waṭubiʿa
وَطُبِعَ
and were sealed
മുദ്രകുത്തപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു
ʿalā qulūbihim
عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ
[on] their hearts
അവരുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളുടെമേല്‍
fahum
فَهُمْ
so they
അതിനാല്‍ അവര്‍
lā yafqahūna
لَا يَفْقَهُونَ
(do) not understand
ഗ്രഹിക്കുകയില്ല, ഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നില്ല
Radoo bi ai yakoonoo ma'al khawaalifi wa tubi'a 'alaa quloobihim fahum laa yafqahoon (at-Tawbah 9:87)
English Sahih:
They were satisfied to be with those who stay behind, and their hearts were sealed over, so they do not understand. (At-Tawbah [9] : 87)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
യുദ്ധത്തില്‍നിന്ന് മാറിനില്‍ക്കുന്നവരോടൊപ്പം കഴിയാനാണ് അവരിഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടത്. അവരുടെ മനസ്സുകള്‍ക്ക് മുദ്രവെക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. അതിനാല്‍ അവരൊന്നും മനസ്സിലാക്കുന്നില്ല. (അത്തൗബ [9] : 87)
