مَتَاعٌ فِى الدُّنْيَا ثُمَّ اِلَيْنَا مَرْجِعُهُمْ ثُمَّ نُذِيْقُهُمُ الْعَذَابَ الشَّدِيْدَ بِمَا كَانُوْا يَكْفُرُوْنَ ࣖ ( يونس: ٧٠ )
An enjoyment
مَتَٰعٌ
ஒரு சுகம்
in the world
فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا
உலகில்
then
ثُمَّ
பிறகு
to Us
إِلَيْنَا
நம்மிடமே
(is) their return then
مَرْجِعُهُمْ ثُمَّ
மீளுமிடம்/அவர்களுடைய/பிறகு
We will make them taste
نُذِيقُهُمُ
சுவைக்க வைப்போம் அவர்களுக்கு
the punishment the severe
ٱلْعَذَابَ ٱلشَّدِيدَ
வேதனை/கடினமான
because
بِمَا
எதன் காரணமாக
they used to
كَانُوا۟
இருந்தனர்
disbelieve
يَكْفُرُونَ
அவர்கள் நிராகரிக்கிறார்கள்
Mataa'un fiddunyaa summa ilainaa marji'uhum summa nuzeequhumul 'azaabash shadeeda bimaa kaanoo yakkfuroon (al-Yūnus 10:70)

(இத்தகையவர்கள்) இவ்வுலகில் சிறிது சுகமனுபவிக்கலாம். பின்னர் (மறுமையிலோ) நம்மிடம்தான் அவர்கள் வரவேண்டிய திருக்கிறது. பின்னர், (உண்மையை இவ்வாறு) அவர்கள் நிராகரித்துக் கொண்டிருந்ததன் காரணமாக கடினமான வேதனையைச் சுவைக்கும்படி நாம் செய்வோம்.
English Sahih:
[For them is brief] enjoyment in this world; then to Us is their return; then We will make them taste the severe punishment because they used to disbelieve. ([10] Yunus : 70)
