لَوْلَا جَاۤءُوْ عَلَيْهِ بِاَرْبَعَةِ شُهَدَاۤءَۚ فَاِذْ لَمْ يَأْتُوْا بِالشُّهَدَاۤءِ فَاُولٰۤىِٕكَ عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ هُمُ الْكٰذِبُوْنَ ( النور: ١٣ )
Why (did) not they bring
لَّوْلَا جَآءُو
கொண்டு வந்திருக்க வேண்டாமா!
for it
عَلَيْهِ
அதற்கு
four
بِأَرْبَعَةِ
நான்கு
witnesses?
شُهَدَآءَۚ
சாட்சிகளை
Then when not they brought
فَإِذْ لَمْ يَأْتُوا۟
ஆகவே அவர்கள் வராததால்
the witnesses
بِٱلشُّهَدَآءِ
சாட்சிகளைக்கொண்டு
then those
فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
அவர்கள்தான்
near Allah near Allah
عِندَ ٱللَّهِ
அல்லாஹ்விடம்
they
هُمُ
அவர்கள்தான்
(are) the liars
ٱلْكَٰذِبُونَ
பொய்யர்கள்
Law laa jaaa'oo 'alaihi bi-arba'ati shuhadaaa'; fa iz lam yaatoo bishshuhadaaa'i fa ulaaa 'ika 'indal laahi humul kaaziboon (an-Nūr 24:13)
Abdul Hameed Baqavi:
(அல்லது) இதற்கு வேண்டிய நான்கு சாட்சிகளை அவர்கள் கொண்டு வந்திருக்க வேண்டாமா? இதற்குரிய சாட்சிகளை அவர்கள் கொண்டு வராததினால் நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் பொய்யர்கள்தாம் என்று அல்லாஹ்விடத்தில் ஏற்பட்டுவிட்டது.
English Sahih:
Why did they [who slandered] not produce for it four witnesses? And when they do not produce the witnesses, then it is they, in the sight of Allah, who are the liars. ([24] An-Nur : 13)
