فَاِنَّكَ لَا تُسْمِعُ الْمَوْتٰى وَلَا تُسْمِعُ الصُّمَّ الدُّعَاۤءَ اِذَا وَلَّوْا مُدْبِرِيْنَ ( الروم: ٥٢ )
So indeed, you
فَإِنَّكَ
ஆகவே நிச்சயமாக நீர்
(can) not make the dead hear
لَا تُسْمِعُ
செவியுறச் செய்ய முடியாது
make the dead hear
ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ
இறந்தவர்களுக்கு
and not make the deaf hear
وَلَا تُسْمِعُ
இன்னும் நீர் செவியுறச் செய்ய முடியாது
make the deaf hear
ٱلصُّمَّ
செவிடர்களுக்கு
the call
ٱلدُّعَآءَ
அழைப்பை
when they turn
إِذَا وَلَّوْا۟
அவர்கள் திரும்பினால்
retreating
مُدْبِرِينَ
புறமுதுகிட்டவர்களாக
Fa innaka laa tusmi'ul mawtaa wa laa tusmi'us summad du'aaa'a izaa wallaw mudbireen (ar-Rūm 30:52)
Abdul Hameed Baqavi:
(நபியே!) இறந்தவர்களை செவியுறும்படிச் செய்ய நிச்சயமாக உங்களால் முடியாது. உங்களைப் புறக்கணித்துச் செல்லும் செவிடர்களுக்குச் சப்தத்தைக் கேட்கும்படிச் செய்யவும் உங்களால் முடியாது.
English Sahih:
So indeed, you will not make the dead hear, nor will you make the deaf hear the call when they turn their backs, retreating. ([30] Ar-Rum : 52)
