قُلْ يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ هَادُوْٓا اِنْ زَعَمْتُمْ اَنَّكُمْ اَوْلِيَاۤءُ لِلّٰهِ مِنْ دُوْنِ النَّاسِ فَتَمَنَّوُا الْمَوْتَ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صٰدِقِيْنَ ( الجمعة: ٦ )
Say
قُلْ
கூறுவீராக!
"O! "you (who)! "(are) Jews!
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ هَادُوٓا۟
யூதர்களே!
If you claim
إِن زَعَمْتُمْ
நீங்கள் பிதற்றினால்
that you
أَنَّكُمْ
நிச்சயமாக நீங்கள்தான்
(are) allies
أَوْلِيَآءُ
நண்பர்கள்
of Allah
لِلَّهِ
அல்லாஹ்வின்
from excluding the people
مِن دُونِ ٱلنَّاسِ
மற்ற மக்கள் அல்ல
then wish
فَتَمَنَّوُا۟
ஆசைப்படுங்கள்!
(for) the death
ٱلْمَوْتَ
மரணத்தை
if you are truthful"
إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ
நீங்கள் உண்மையாளர்களாக இருந்தால்
Qul yaaa ayyuhal lazeena haadoo in za'amtum annakum awliyaaa'u lilaahi min doonin naasi fatamannawul mawta in kuntum saadiqeen (al-Jumuʿah 62:6)
Abdul Hameed Baqavi:
"யூதர்களே! நீங்கள் மற்ற மனிதர்களைவிட அல்லாஹ்வுக்குச் சொந்தமானவர்களென்று மெய்யாகவே நீங்கள் எண்ணிக் கொண்டிருந்து, அந்த எண்ணத்தில் நீங்கள் உண்மையானவர் களாகவும் இருந்தால், நீங்கள் மரணத்தை விரும்புங்கள்" என்று (நபியே!) நீங்கள் கூறுங்கள்.
English Sahih:
Say, "O you who are Jews, if you claim that you are allies of Allah, excluding the [other] people, then wish for death, if you should be truthful." ([62] Al-Jumu'ah : 6)
