فَلَمَّا كَشَفْنَا عَنْهُمُ الرِّجْزَ اِلٰٓى اَجَلٍ هُمْ بَالِغُوْهُ اِذَا هُمْ يَنْكُثُوْنَ ( الأعراف: ١٣٥ )
But when
فَلَمَّا
போது
We removed
كَشَفْنَا
நீக்கினோம்
from them
عَنْهُمُ
அவர்களை விட்டு
the punishment
ٱلرِّجْزَ
வேதனையை
till
إِلَىٰٓ
வரை
a (fixed) term
أَجَلٍ
ஒரு தவணை
(which) they
هُم
அவர்கள்
were to reach [it]
بَٰلِغُوهُ
அடைபவர்கள்/அதை
then
إِذَا
அப்போது
they
هُمْ
அவர்கள்
broke (the word)
يَنكُثُونَ
முறித்து விடுகின்றனர்
Falammaa kashafnaa 'anhumur rijza ilaaa ajalin hum baalighoohu izaa hum yankusoon (al-ʾAʿrāf 7:135)
Abdul Hameed Baqavi:
நாம் அவர்களுடைய வேதனையை நீக்கியபோதெல்லாம் (அவர்கள் தங்கள் வாக்குறுதிக்கு மாறு செய்துகொண்டே வந்தார்கள்.) இவ்வாறு அவர்களுக்கு ஏற்பட்ட (இறுதி) தவணையை அவர்கள் அடையும் வரையில் (தொடர்ந்து) மாறு செய்தே வந்தனர்.
English Sahih:
But when We removed the punishment from them until a term which they were to reach, then at once they broke their word. ([7] Al-A'raf : 135)
