وَاِذْ يَعِدُكُمُ اللّٰهُ اِحْدَى الطَّاۤىِٕفَتَيْنِ اَنَّهَا لَكُمْ وَتَوَدُّوْنَ اَنَّ غَيْرَ ذَاتِ الشَّوْكَةِ تَكُوْنُ لَكُمْ وَيُرِيْدُ اللّٰهُ اَنْ يُّحِقَّ الْحَقَّ بِكَلِمٰتِهٖ وَيَقْطَعَ دَابِرَ الْكٰفِرِيْنَۙ ( الأنفال: ٧ )
Wa iz ya'idukumul laahu ihdat taaa'ifataini annahaa lakum wa tawaddoona anna ghaira zaatish shawkati takoonu lakum wa yureedul laahu ai yuhiqqal haqqa bikalimaatihee wa taqta'a daabiral kaafireen (al-ʾAnfāl 8:7)
English Sahih:
[Remember, O believers], when Allah promised you one of the two groups – that it would be yours – and you wished that the unarmed one would be yours. But Allah intended to establish the truth by His words and to eliminate the disbelievers (Al-Anfal [8] : 7)
Ma Jian (Simplified):
当时，安拉应许你们两伙人中的一伙，你们要的是没有武装的那一伙，而安拉欲以他的言辞证实真理，并根绝不信道的人， (战利品 [8] : 7)
