وَاِذْ قَالَ مُوْسٰى لِقَوْمِهٖ يٰقَوْمِ اِنَّكُمْ ظَلَمْتُمْ اَنْفُسَكُمْ بِاتِّخَاذِكُمُ الْعِجْلَ فَتُوْبُوْٓا اِلٰى بَارِىِٕكُمْ فَاقْتُلُوْٓا اَنْفُسَكُمْۗ ذٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ عِنْدَ بَارِىِٕكُمْۗ فَتَابَ عَلَيْكُمْ ۗ اِنَّهٗ هُوَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيْمُ ( البقرة: ٥٤ )
Wa 'Idh Qāla Mūsaá Liqawmihi Yā Qawmi 'Innakum Žalamtum 'Anfusakum Biāttikhādhikum Al-`Ijla Fatūbū 'Ilaá Bāri'ikum Fāqtulū 'Anfusakum Dhālikum Khayrun Lakum `Inda Bāri'ikum Fatāba `Alaykum 'Innahu Huwa At-Tawwābu Ar-Raĥīmu. (al-Baq̈arah 2:54)

Und als Musa zu seinem Volk sagte; "O mein Volk, ihr habt euch selbst Unrecht zugefügt, indem ihr das Kalb (zum Gegenstand der Anbetung) genommen habt. Bereut nun vor eurem Erschaffer und tötet dann (die Schuldigen unter) euch selbst! Dies ist besser für euch vor eurem Erschaffer!" Und da nahm Er eure Reue an; Er ist ja der Reue-Annehmende und Barmherzige. ([2] al-Baqara (Die Kuh) : 54)
English Sahih:
And [recall] when Moses said to his people, "O my people, indeed you have wronged yourselves by your taking of the calf [for worship]. So repent to your Creator and kill yourselves [i.e., the guilty among you]. That is best for [all of] you in the sight of your Creator." Then He accepted your repentance; indeed, He is the Accepting of Repentance, the Merciful. ([2] Al-Baqarah : 54)

und als Musa seinen Leuten sagte; "Meine Leute! Zweifelsohne habt ihr euch selbst durch eure Annahme des Kalbes Unrecht angetan, so bereut vor eurem Schöpfer und tötet euch selbst. Dies ist besser für euch bei eurem Schöpfer." Dann vergab ER euch. Gewiß, ER ist Der äußerst Reue-Annehmende, Der Allgnädige.
