بِئْسَمَا اشْتَرَوْا بِهٖٓ اَنْفُسَهُمْ اَنْ يَّكْفُرُوْا بِمَآ اَنْزَلَ اللّٰهُ بَغْيًا اَنْ يُّنَزِّلَ اللّٰهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهٖ عَلٰى مَنْ يَّشَاۤءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهٖ ۚ فَبَاۤءُوْ بِغَضَبٍ عَلٰى غَضَبٍۗ وَلِلْكٰفِرِيْنَ عَذَابٌ مُّهِيْنٌ ( البقرة: ٩٠ )
Bi'sa Mā Ashtaraw Bihi 'Anfusahum 'An Yakfurū Bimā 'Anzala Allāhu Baghyāan 'An Yunazzila Allāhu Min Fađlih `Alaá Man Yashā'u Min `Ibādihi Fabā'ū Bighađabin `Alaá Ghađabin Wa Lilkāfirīna `Adhābun Muhīnun. (al-Baq̈arah 2:90)

Wie schlimm ist das, wofür sie ihre Seelen verkauft haben; daß sie das verleugnen, was Allah herabgesandt hat, aus Mißgunst (darüber), daß Allah etwas von Seiner Huld offenbart, wem von Seinen Dienern Er will! So haben sie sich Zorn über Zorn zugezogen. Und für die Ungläubigen gibt es schmachvolle Strafe. ([2] al-Baqara (Die Kuh) : 90)
English Sahih:
How wretched is that for which they sold themselves – that they would disbelieve in what Allah has revealed through [their] outrage that Allah would send down His favor upon whom He wills from among His servants. So they returned having [earned] wrath upon wrath. And for the disbelievers is a humiliating punishment. ([2] Al-Baqarah : 90)

Erbärmlich ist das, womit sie sich selbst verkauften, daß sie dem gegenüber Kufr betreiben, was ALLAH hinabsandte - aus Übertretung, daß ALLAH von Seiner Gunst auf denjenigen von Seinen Dienern, den ER will, nach und nach hinabsendet. So kehrten sie mit Zorn über Zorn um, und für die Kafir ist erniedrigende Peinigung bestimmt.
