بَلْ تَأْتِيْهِمْ بَغْتَةً فَتَبْهَتُهُمْ فَلَا يَسْتَطِيْعُوْنَ رَدَّهَا وَلَا هُمْ يُنْظَرُوْنَ   ( الأنبياء: ٤٠ )

Nay
بَلْ
Nein! Vielmehr
it will come to them
تَأْتِيهِم
kommt es über sie
unexpectedly
بَغْتَةً
plötzlich,
and bewilder them
فَتَبْهَتُهُمْ
so verblüffen sie,
then not
فَلَا
dann nicht
they will be able
يَسْتَطِيعُونَ
werden sie können
to repel it
رَدَّهَا
es abzuwenden
and not
وَلَا
und nicht
they
هُمْ
ihnen
will be given respite
يُنظَرُونَ
wird Aufschub gewährt.

Bal Ta'tīhim Baghtatan Fatabhatuhum Falā Yastaţī`ūna Raddahā Wa Lā Hum Yunžarūna. (al-ʾAnbiyāʾ 21:40)

Aber nein! Es wird plötzlich über sie kommen und sie verblüffen. Dann werden sie es nicht abwenden können, und es wird ihnen kein Aufschub gewährt. ([21] al-Anbiya (Die Propheten) : 40)

English Sahih:

Rather, it will come to them unexpectedly and bewilder them, and they will not be able to repel it, nor will they be reprieved. ([21] Al-Anbya : 40)

Nein, sondern sie (die Stunde) bricht über sie plötzlich herein, dann macht sie sie sprachlos verwundert, dann werden sie diese weder aufhalten können, noch wird ihnen eine Frist gewährt.
