قَالَ هِيَ رَاوَدَتْنِيْ عَنْ نَّفْسِيْ وَشَهِدَ شَاهِدٌ مِّنْ اَهْلِهَاۚ اِنْ كَانَ قَمِيْصُهٗ قُدَّ مِنْ قُبُلٍ فَصَدَقَتْ وَهُوَ مِنَ الْكٰذِبِيْنَ   ( يوسف: ٢٦ )

قَمِيصُهُۥ
his shirt

قُدَّ
(is) torn

the front
faṣadaqat
فَصَدَقَتْ
then she has spoken the truth
wahuwa
وَهُوَ
and he
mina
مِنَ
(is) of
l-kādhibīna
ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ
the liars

Qaala hiya raawadatnee 'an nafsee wa shahida shaahidum min ahlihaa in kaana qameesuhoo qudda min qubulin fasadaqat wa huwa minal kaazibeen (Yūsuf 12:26)

Sahih International:

[Joseph] said, "It was she who sought to seduce me." And a witness from her family testified, "If his shirt is torn from the front, then she has told the truth, and he is of the liars. (Yusuf [12] : 26)

1 Mufti Taqi Usmani

He (Yūsuf) said, “It was she who tried to seduce me.” And a witness from her family observed that if his shirt was ripped from the front side, then she is true and he is a liar;
